This is an opportunity for a Backend Engineer to work in a Data Science team, developing a variety of innovative digital products throughout 2021.

You’ll define and implement the technical requirements of web applications, develop and maintain APIs, and ensure that development and coding standards/practices are implemented as defined by the architecture team.

This is a contract position starting in the next few weeks, so applicants must be able to start in early February (fully remote until the restrictions are lifted, working in Ridgefield a few days a week afterward).

What skills are we looking for?

• Previously experience in a Backend Development or Engineering position.
• Python (Flask).
• Experience working with DevOps, Cloud & Big Data technologies and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm, Hadoop/HDFS, Spark, Hive, or Pig.
