NOT ACTIVE : Cloud Capability Lead – Germany
All too often, transitioning to the cloud lacks clarity. If you’re frustrated by the pace of change in your current role, you’ll relish this opportunity to take charge of helping this global top-20 pharma business move vital data services to AWS. If you can keep stakeholders across the business happy, in this highly visible, new role, you’ll have a very bright future here.
A top-20 global pharmacy business has decided to move their new and upcoming data-related projects to the cloud (AWS). It’s a big change but one with compelling benefits – both practically and from a commercial perspective.
In this new, visible role, you’ll be the bridge between the business and the AWS Cloud platform, helping technical teams and internal business partners to successfully make the move to the cloud.
You’ll work across the whole business, so you’ll experience a huge range of use cases and products – from using predictive models for sales forecasting to improving protocols for promising new drugs. You’ll cultivate relationships with developers, data scientists, and decision-makers across the business, delivering onboarding training and ironing out ‘pinch points’ to create the very best experience for new cloud users.
Without you, we can’t make the strategic shift to the cloud we need. Succeed in this role and you’ll develop a reputation as someone who can get things done – it’s a great platform to build your career.
This business has one of the most supportive, collaborative cultures you will find but, as with any change, you will encounter obstacles and technical challenges. Customers could be frustrated with the learning curve or the time taken to transition their project. That’s why the job demands a natural communicator and negotiator – someone who’s had success in a business-facing role before, who understands how to keep stakeholders happy.
Experience in a similar regulated environment (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, financial services) will help you hit the ground running but we’re open-minded about your background. You ideally have as many of the following on your CV as possible:
Initially, you’ll need to be comfortable with working 100% remotely. In time, we anticipate you’ll spend 3-4 days a week in the office and 1-2 days working from home.
You’ll be part of a global top-20 pharma business with a research-driven focus on innovative therapies that can extend patients’ lives and improve animal health. All in all, it’s a positive, progressive place to work – the ideal setting to develop your career.
Business results – results that could deliver better outcomes for millions of patients.
