If you’re used to working in a silo, this role couldn’t be more different.
Joining a 33-strong Pharmacometrics function within the Data Science group, the work is focused across specific therapeutic areas such as oncology, inflammation, cardiology, respiratory diseases and diseases of the central nervous system.
You’d be supporting projects from one clinical phase to the next, identifying opportunities where Pharmacometrics can further the company’s understanding of the pharmacological activity, efficacy and safety.
You’ll even have the satisfaction of seeing projects develop from the very start –before even first-in-human trials.
From there, you’ll be involved in defining the decision points after each phase of the study and support projects through to successful regulatory approval and beyond.
Working alongside intelligent colleagues from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds, you can contribute to a wealth of initiatives. As a key team member, you’ll also represent Pharmacometrics both internally and externally.
You’ll have been exposed to modelling, whether in clinical OR preclinical drug development in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agencies or academia. If you have the right industry knowledge, you could also join with a background in pharmacy, physics or system engineering.
Alongside a Master’s or PhD in a relevant field, you’ll also have a strong level of experience in Pharmacometrics/Data Science.
If you’re a Senior, you may either be keen to drive the strategy for a particular therapeutic area where you have strong knowledge of pharmacometrics approaches.
Or, if you’re someone who’s passionate about scientific progress, then you’ll be interested in implementing new approaches.
