NOT ACTIVE – Digital Analytics Lead – UK – £40,000 – £50,000
This new role in a newly created team is an ideal move for an enterprising analyst looking for a blend of strategy and hands-on Web Analytics. In an entrepreneurial, experimental environment, your ideas will shape Digital analytics and reporting for an international e-commerce business, directly impacting their growth. It’s work that will stretch you from day one with plenty of room to grow in future.
You’ll be the first person to join a newly established central analytics function, aiming to standardise reporting across a group of e-commerce businesses.
That means plenty of influence over how the company use analytics and reporting. You’ll build the foundations and determine how processes develop, right from the beginning. Broadly, there are two sides to the role – strategic and technical:
Strategically, you’ll work directly with the Chief Digital Officer and build relationships with senior business stakeholders across the company’s various business streams. There’s a mix of local and international contacts, so you’ll get to immerse yourself in different countries and working cultures.
Technically, you’ll enjoy delving into a vast array of data, currently spanning five different platforms and developer teams. Your challenge is to centralise it, including optimising conversion, user journeys and traffic channel attribution, running web analytics, and creating standardised dashboards and e-commerce platforms.
This has the potential to be a really engaging project, capturing the best insights and marketing strategies then sharing them across the business. Ultimately, the decisions you make about the way the company use data will have a huge impact on the growth of the business – and your career.
It’s an ideal move for an enterprising analyst with leadership ambitions. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment alongside a CDO whose background is in starting businesses. In 6 years, the business has grown rapidly from 650 to 1500+ people. That means you’ll have both the freedom to experiment, and the momentum to grow and take on greater responsibility.
Personally, you’ll need to convince us that you have the all-around communication skills to win the confidence of stakeholders across different working cultures and the curiosity to seek out new and interesting solutions.
Technically, we’re looking for as many of the following on your CV:
The company is pretty flexible about how you organise your work – you’ll need to be happy being in the office, near Bristol, for around 2-3 days a week.
