Are you an industrial automation expert? Could you create and implement an automation concept for a new biopharmaceutical site?
You’ll be involved in building an automation concept based on the operational requirements for a new biopharmaceutical site in Vienna, Austria. You’ll cover process automation, building management systems, environmental monitoring systems and power plants.
Even as a contractor, your work will significantly contribute to the success of setting up this state-of-the-art site.
In terms of the work, your projects will involve:
Planning phase –
Collecting and documenting the requirements for automation in the project and requirements for automation from internal and external regulations
Create a draft automation project plan and budget based on requirements, then present this plan in various project meetings, get feedback from the automation team, incorporate comments and submit for approval
Check the desired automation concept is harmonised with the corresponding interfaces, e.g. IT and MES.
Cross-phase:
Participation in weekly to daily project meetings including presentation of the current project status on the subject of automation
Assessing and evaluating scope changes in the project in relation to the impact of automation in terms of costs, schedule and quality
Monitoring and presenting the budget plan
Monitoring and presenting the project plan
Implementing and communicating KPI reports for automation for the various project phases.
Execution and post-project phase:
Coordinate the executing automation companies
Control whether the activities carried out correspond to the defined requirements
Monitoring the progress of the project and evaluation after project end
Preparation of a summary for handover to Boehringer
You’ll bring these skills and experience to the role:
Masters or Diploma degree in Engineering (with a focus on industrial/infrastructure automation)
Longstanding professional experience in global project delivery alongside knowledge of current automation landscape and its weaknesses
Understanding of compliance aspects of automation systems (FDA & EMA Audits)
Good understanding of manufacturing, building & infrastructure processes and project management, including experience within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
Leadership skills, strong objective focus, vendor management and negotiation skills
Track record in implementing technologies and realising business benefit in a global/regional environment (including different cultures)
Risk Management and problem-solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills; fluent in English and German.
